The Impact Investing Network (IIN) Aotearoa has formally integrated with the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA). This integration reflects a shared commitment to accelerating the growth, capability and cohesion of the impact investing ecosystem in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Bringing the two organisations together creates a clear pathway to streamline communications, align audiences and enhance the overall value we deliver to members, partners and the broader investment community.
“This merger creates even greater value for our members. It allows us to bring together complementary expertise, streamline how we engage with the market and create a more cohesive platform for impact investing across Aotearoa,” said Dean Hegarty, Co-CEO at RIAA.
The IIN Aotearoa now sits within RIAA’s established working group structure, supported by the Aotearoa IIN Advisory Committee to ensure strong continuity of purpose and ongoing leadership across our activities.
“Over the past 12 months, IIN and RIAA have been exploring how best to deepen our collaboration. With strongly aligned goals, the benefits of this integration are already being seen with 33 high quality expressions of interest being submitted for the new IIN Advisory Committee. I look forward to working with the committee and RIAA to drive greater momentum for impact investment in the coming years,” said Alastair Rhodes, Chair of the IIN Aotearoa Advisory Committee.
RIAA members and IIN Aotearoa network subscribers can expect a continued focus on capability-building, market insights and opportunities to engage across the region’s expanding responsible and impact investment landscape.
