Keep an eye on your inbox on Tuesday 20th November when Pure Advantage launch Financing the Future a dynamic content project about impact investment. The format combines a briefing on impact investment in Aotearoa, NZ authored by IINABANZ member Alex Hannant, video interviews with 15 International and Kiwi thought leaders including David Woods and Dr Jamie Newth, investment case studies(4), and provocations(8) from experts working in the areas that offer immediate opportunities for impact investment.
In the report, Pure Advantage explore four such areas through insights from field-based experts and case studies, they are:
Social and affordable housing
Forestry and sustainable land use
Social procurement
The circular economy.
Pure Advantage champions economic models for green growth, and sees an opportunity to help catalyse greater uptake of impact investment by raising the profile of trends and developments, and shining a light on market opportunities that are specific to the New Zealand context.
The Impact Investing National Advisory Board Aotearoa New Zealand (IINABANZ) in association with the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia (RIAA) has been involved with peer review on the project and looks forward to its collective networks helping to promote the release of this comprehensive and timely work.
