We are currently recruiting for a Community Advisor to join our team. It's a part-time role of up to 16 hours per week on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
It'll suit someone with strong communications and digital skills, with a desire to learn about the role that investment can contribute towards creating positive environmental, social and cultural change.
We offer remote and flexible working arrangements, to suit your lifestyle. As examples, suitable candidates could be studying in a related field, career changers, or would like to complement their existing work in a growing and increasingly important sector.

We are a peak body that connects, educates and advocates to grow the impact investing sector and transition to a sustainable Aotearoa New Zealand.
We accelerate the current momentum of the sector to

Promote impact investing activities: Through our communication and social media channels to share stories and projects from our growing community of practitioners.

Host the digital hub for impact investing in Aotearoa NZ.

Facilitate education and sector events: Increasing connectivity and capability amongst practitioners.

Convene forums: Ecosystem building and deal flow, between sector players to collaborate on sector-level opportunities to increase the scale, profile and legitimacy of the sector.
What the Community Advisor role will do
The Community Advisor will manage the IIN’s community, digital and communications activities, with support from the IIN Manager and team.

Communications: Produce written and video content for IIN communication channels e.g. newsletters, blogs, case studies, profiles, social media.

Digital: Manage the IIN website, digital and social media channels.

Events: Coordinate online and in-person IIN events.

Coordination: Support the IIN Manager, team and Board with coordinating IIN projects and team activities.

Stakeholders: Grow and strengthen relationships with the IIN community.

Designer (bonus points): design communications and digital material.
The Community Advisor role would suit someone with following attributes

Passion for the role that finance/investment can contribute towards creating positive environmental, social and cultural change.

Knowledge of digital tools e.g. websites, content management systems, newsletter tools, social media.

Skilled in producing compelling written and video content.

High levels of organisation and attention to detail.

Enjoys developing relationships and growing online and in-person communities.

Action-orientation and willingness to learn.

Enjoys autonomy and freedom to direct work, with support of a small team.

Role is remote, preferably located in Auckland or Wellington due to events and team meetings.
